Chris Wright Competitions based in Bridegtown ,a small village in Somerset, have a wealth of experience in all forms of motorsport preparations and maintanence. Director Chris Wright, a former MG Sport and Racing team member, specialises in the MG Rover marquee and currently prepares and runs several cars in various race and rally championships throughout the UK.
Like many preparation experts, Chris' interest in cars and motorsport came at a very early age. Even before passing his test, Chris would often be seen tinkering and rebuilding cars for both himself and friends. Soon he managed to compete himself on various road rallies and stage rallies across the country with some success. His working life took him into various motorsport projects working for the likes of Vauxhall Irmscher, Midland Performance Centre, Dunlop and finally MG Sport and Racing. Becoming an integral part of the MG motorsport divisions team (MG Sport & Racing), Chris' interest for the marquee was born.
Soon after MG's demise he formed vehicle preparation and composite company, Chris Wright Composites (and then Chris Wright Competitions) in Cannock West Mids. During this time Chris looked after and built, many competition cars as well as supplying composite materials to the motorsport fratertiny, even including Paris Dakar bike farings!
Contracting to other high profile teams such as Chevrolet WTCC, TAL Motorsport, CMC, Dunlop and various Britcar, GT and circuit racing teams, Chris was always in demand and seen in a high regard in the competitive industry.
CWC has recently moved to the South West where Chris is as busy as ever looking after many competition vehicles from his base in Somerset.
